How does podcast archive transcription work?
When you add your podcast, we import all episodes from your RSS feed and transcribe your entire back catalog. The more episodes you have, the lower your per-minute rate. Archive transcription is a one-time payment, and you can choose between pay-as-you-go pricing or get a 30% rebate with an annual commitment.
What's the difference between pay-as-you-go and annual commitment?
With pay-as-you-go, you pay the standard archive transcription rates (with volume discounts) and can cancel your monthly subscription anytime. With annual commitment, you get a 30% rebate on archive transcription but commit to a 12-month subscription (e.g. Small $12/month). This is perfect if you're committed to long-term podcasting.
How do podcast subscriptions work?
After transcribing your archive, choose a plan: Small ($15.60/month, 10 hrs & 200 credits), Medium ($31.20/month, 30 hrs & 500 credits), or Large ($46.80/month, 50 hrs & 1,000 credits). New episodes from your RSS feed are automatically transcribed. If you exceed your hours or credits, additional use is charged at pay-as-you-go rates.
Can I cancel my podcast subscription?
Yes, pay-as-you-go subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. Annual commitment subscriptions are binding for 12 months from the start date. After the commitment period ends, your subscription continues month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time.
What happens to my transcripts if I cancel?
Your transcripts remain accessible for 7 days after cancellation. You can extend storage to a full year by purchasing extended storage, or export your transcripts before they expire.
Do I need to provide my RSS feed?
Yes, we import your podcast episodes directly from your RSS feed URL. This allows us to automatically transcribe new episodes as they're published. Make sure your RSS feed is publicly accessible and up to date.
How do video clips and YouTube Shorts work?
When you upload a video file and enable video features, we retain the original video alongside the transcript. After transcription, AI generates timestamped chapters. You can then create individual video clips from any chapter, or select a passage of text in the transcript to create a vertical 9:16 YouTube Short (up to 3 minutes). Clips can be customized with fade effects, audio normalization, and aspect ratio options. All clips and Shorts can be downloaded as MP4 for use anywhere.
Can I download my video clips?
Yes. Every video asset — the original upload, chapter-based clips, and YouTube Shorts — can be downloaded as an MP4 file. You can use them on any platform, not just YouTube.
How does the "Earn up to 50% off" revenue sharing work?
When you make your podcast public, listeners can search your entire archive. If they purchase search packs, you earn 20% of that revenue as credits. These credits are automatically applied as a discount on your next subscription payment — up to 50% off! The more your listeners search, the more you save.
